KDH is committed to a radical change of the transparent, flexible, and high brightness optical performance display technology in far-field and near-eye applications like AR (Augmented Reality) through the patent-pending “Transparent Integrated Guiding Enhanced Reality (TIGER)” display innovation. KDH controls the entire process from the material pipeline, and product development with the Advanced R&D team at the University of Melbourne and MCN (Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication), Australia. Different from the existing display techniques, the TIGER Display has higher brightness, better transparency and power-saving features that perfectly fit various environments. Better pricing compared with existing semi-transparent OLED Thin with almost 100% optical power efficiency, and lower power consumption compared with existing LCD, OLED, or upcoming micro-LED.
We create a thin film-like structure and the fabrication of nano-scaled microstructures within the film and any given specific coupled-in light beams are allowed to transmit and control individually at a pixel-scale level.
We can adjust the micro-optical design to control the beam entering, travelling, and penetrating inside the film.

KDH’s TIGER film-powered Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) works in both battery-based and solar-powered modalities. That is, it can capture light beams from the ambient environment to power itself.
We have proven the feasibility of KDH’s TIGER Display film using an electronic shelf label. It has increased up to 33% over a one-minute duration. The film design can be varying depending upon the locational light source or the application for maximum efficiency.
