Laser beam’s Damage to Human Retina

•The destructive power of laser to eyes is mainly determined by wavelength, energy, and contact time.

•Lasers ranging from visible to near-infrared wavelengths (400 nm-1400 nm) which can damage the human retina.

•These beams penetrate the cornea, pass through the lens, and finally focus on the fovea centralis. The light energy is absorbed and converted into heat energy, which burns the retina.

Disadvantages of traditional goggles

Different laser goggles to block different wavelengths of laser treatment.

  High cost ranging from $175-$300.

User-unfriendly especially under the condition which the target area is small and almost invisible to human eyes

Result in high failure rate and negative client satisfaction
